Ziggy is a 7 year old grade QH gelding standing 15.0HH. If you are looking for an all around, athletic, and gentle gelding - Check out Ziggy! Ziggy has been used for everything from heading steers to trail riding, doctoring cattle and popping over cross rails. Ziggy is honest and knows what a days long worth of work is! You can rope and doctor on him out in the open pastures and go to the local team roping jackpots at night. If you are looking for a trail riding partner to enjoy around the ranch, through the forest or even do some fox hunting or endurance riding, Ziggy will gladly do it! He will go absolutely anywhere you point him, over obstacles, through water, or down any type of terrain. You can ride out in a group or by yourself with no concerns! Ziggy will also trot through the barrels and poles and won’t take much to finish out on the playday events and be perfect for a teenager needing a step up! He is also very elegant under English tack and soft and supple enough to excel in the regular or western dressage or working equitation! He will even pop over some cross rails! In the arena he knows both of his leads, how to pivot on his haunches and side pass! He is the easiest horse to open and close gates on as he does it automatically! Ziggy has absolutely no vices, bad behaviors or quirks. He does not need to be ridden daily and will not get fresh with time off. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and has the kindest eye! Ziggy is very low maintanance back at the ranch. He can be stalled or turned out, and will get along with any type of herd! Stands tied all day long for bathing, grooming, tacking and self loads and unloads on the trailer! He is UTD on all of his vaccinations, trimming (currently barefoot), dental and worming!
