Indigenous Women - Interviews (Motueka market, Aotearoa, April 2024) ** Turn on the captions to be able to follow. ** Unfortunately the audio quality is poor. In research for a documentary project a group of us went to the Sunday market in Motueka, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and interviewed women about their indigeneity and what it means to be indigenous. What emerged was a broad spectrum of explorations, from not identifying as indigenous to being a full yes to being an indigenous woman. This is part of a film project we have embarked on and that will require funding.
