How To Cook The PERFECT Steak!

This is my quick and easy recipe on how to cook the most PERFECT steak! Like & Subscribe to my YouTube channel for more content! / @tastybitesmike INGREDIENTS 12oz sirloin steak 30g unsalted butter 2 garlic cloves 3 sprigs of rosemary Salt Black pepper METHOD 1. Rest the steak at room temperature after seasoning (approx 30-45mins) 2. Pat dry with a paper towel 3. Season with salt and black pepper 4. Rub in well 5. Oil in a cast-iron skillet on a medium-high heat 6. Crush and peel the garlic cloves 7. Cook the 12oz steak for 6 minutes, turning over every 1 minute 30 seconds (Use a cooking thermometer if required - Medium cooked = 140F/60C) 8. Add butter, garlic and rosemary for the remaining 2 minutes 9. Baste the steak with the melted butter 10. Sear the fat 11. Leave to rest for 5 minutes 12.
