firefighters weren’t using handbags to fight fires
According to reports, L.A. firefighters weren’t using handbags to fight fires, despite reports. LAFD clarified that the bags seen in videos were canvas bags carried on their engines, used for quick response to small fires. Filling the bags with water is faster than hooking up hoses, allowing them to extinguish flames quickly and prevent fires from spreading.
