A Beautiful Hadees

Allah values sincerity and humility, and one of the most profound expressions of these qualities is through tears of repentance and excuses. The Quran says, "And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins" (Surah Al-Imran, 3:135). When we shed tears of regret, acknowledging our mistakes and seeking forgiveness, Allah's mercy and compassion are stirred. These tears are a testament to our humility, recognition of our limitations, and willingness to grow and change.
