Al Basit

Al-Bāsit (الباسط) is one of the 99 Names of Allah, meaning "The Extender" or "The Expander." It refers to Allah’s ability to extend provision, ease, knowledge, and guidance to whomever He wills. Explanation: Allah expands and contracts provision: He gives wealth, sustenance, and blessings in varying amounts according to His wisdom. He expands hearts and guidance: He opens hearts to faith and wisdom, making it easy for people to understand and accept the truth. He expands peace and relief: When someone is in distress, Allah can remove hardship and replace it with ease. Qur'anic Reference: Although "Al-Bāsit" is not mentioned in the Quran explicitly as a name, the concept is reflected in verses like: "Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts it. Indeed, He is Knowing of all things." (Surah Al-Ankabut 29:62)
