Inbred Jed was formed in 1994 by Guitarist/Vocalist Ron Stango, Bassist Steve Haegale, and Guitarist Matt Janaitis. Created in Newtown, PA when the guitarists were just 14 years old, The band went on to tour the continental United States, performed on the Warped Tour on numerous occasions, and was a regular opener for CKY among many other feats. Inbred Jed went through about as many drummers as Spinal Tap yet the core eventually became Ron, Matt and Drummer Murray Valeno. This lineup lasted between the periods of 2000-2003 and then late 2006-2008 which was the last year the band performed.
This album entitled Killer Toast (which was self-produced by the band, as were countless other professional sounding demos) was recorded in 1998 at the infamous Groundhog Studio in Newtown, PA where other local legends such as Rudy + Blitz and CKY recorded. Killer Toast was recorded prior to the band’s first appearance on the Warped Tour in the summer of 98’.
