Faith and Belief in Islam
Faith (Iman) is the foundation of Islam, representing firm belief in Allah and what His Messenger conveyed. The Six Pillars of Faith:
Belief in Allah – Faith in His oneness, names, and attributes.
Belief in Angels – Acknowledging their existence and roles. Belief in the Divine Books – Accepting that Allah revealed scriptures to guide humanity.
Belief in the Prophets – Recognizing that Allah sent messengers to lead people to the truth. Belief in the Last Day – Faith in resurrection, judgment, and the afterlife (Paradise and Hell).
Belief in Predestination (Qadar) – Accepting that everything happens by Allah’s knowledge and decree, while humans remain responsible for their actions. These pillars strengthen monotheism, refine character, and bring peace to believers
