Lost Shores

After three difficult days at sea, an old man and two children discover a deserted island — a paradise compared to the endless ocean. The island has fresh water, fruits, and shelter, giving them hope. However, signs of danger emerge when they find a skull and learn some of the fruit is poisonous. Determined to protect the children, the old man teaches them survival skills — fishing, building shelter, and staying safe. But his mental state begins to crumble after stumbling upon something terrible on the island's far side. Fearful and broken, the old man turns to drinking and eventually attempts to swim back to civilization. Tragically, his body is found the next morning. With no adult to guide them, the children struggle to survive but eventually settle on a safer part of the island. Over six years, they become skilled and self-reliant, building a comfortable life. However, as they grow older, they face new emotional challenges they were never prepared for.
