Midway Atoll is home to two million birds

Midway Atoll is an atoll in the Pacific Ocean, located about halfway between the Hawaiian Islands and Japan. It consists of two large islands - Vostochny Island and Zapadny Island, as well as several small islands. The atoll is important for history as the site of the famous Battle of Midway during World War II. On June 4-7, 1942, the largest naval battle between the Japanese and American fleets took place in this area. The atoll is a popular place for diving and walking along beaches and lagoons.
