Unbelievable natural disasters caught on tape. Snow in Ontario Much of southern Ontario and parts of northern parts of the province were under snow and freezing rain warning as Environment Canada advised against non-essential travel. A winter storm hit Ontario causing snowy, wet, and icy evening rides in some regions. Nearly 1.5 million people were left without power in several states due to a powerful Arctic winter storm that swept the US and Canada. Large parts of both countries are under a winter weather warning that stretches from coast to coast and south to the US-Mexico border. The storm brought destructive winds and low temperatures that can quickly lead to frostbite. The US has recorded at least six storm-related deaths. Major airports canceled thousands of flights as the storm intensified.
