Shah Rukh Khan (also known as SRK) is an Indian actor and film producer. He has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films, and earned several awards for his roles, including 14 Filmfare Awards. He is one of the richest actors in the world, and has a net worth of over $600 million. SRK was born on November 2, 1965 in New Delhi, India. He studied economics at Hansraj College and then pursued a Master's degree in mass communications at Jamia Millia Islamia. He began his career in television, starring in the television series Fauji, which was released in 1988. He made his film debut in 1992 with the film Deewana. Over the course of his career, SRK has become one of the most successful actors in Bollywood. He is known for his roles in films such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, My Name is Khan, and Chennai Express. He has also hosted several seasons of the popular television show Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. In addition to his acting career, SRK is also involved in several charitable organizations and is a co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, a team in the Indian Premier League. He is married to Gauri Khan and they have three children together.
