Cyberabad Police Recovered 310 Cell Phones Total Worth 95 Lakhs

*PRESS NOTE* *PET-BASHEERABAD POLICE CAUGHT FIVE ACCUSED IN MURDER CASE* The Pet-Basheerabad Police have apprehended five accused persons involved in the brutal murder of one Syed Siddiq. The arrested individuals are being produced before the Hon’ble Court for their judicial custody. *DETAILS OF ACCUSED PERSONS:* A1. Shaik Ahmad @ Noor, Age:33 years, R/o. Macha Bollaram. A2. Shaik Rehmath, Age:24years, R/o. Macha Bollaram. A3. Kodimyala Shashi Kumar, Age 23 years, R/o. Macha Bollaram, A4. Vagmar Raj Kamal, Age 24: Years, R/o. Macha Bollaram. A5. Varikuppala Jampanna, Age:20years, R/o. Old Alwal, *DETAILS OF DECEASED:* Syed Siddiq, S/o Syed Kuddush @ Quddus, age 38 years, Occ: Business, R/o. near Government Boys School, Medchal. *CASE BACKGROUND:* The deceased, Syed Siddiq, along with his father Syed Quddus (complainant), had been in the business of supplying battery lights to vegetable vendors in weekly markets for the past 15 years. They had an ongoing business rivalry with Shaik Mohammad and his sons, who were engaged in the same business. This rivalry led to frequent quarrels and mutual attempts to intimidate each other into exiting the business. In March 2025, a confrontation took place at the Medchal weekly market, during which Syed Siddiq allegedly assaulted Shaik Ahmad @ Noor (A1) S/o Shaik Mohammad, causing him injuries. A1 lodged a complaint at Medchal Police Station, and a criminal case was registered. Since then, Siddiq and his family had been pressuring the accused to settle the matter and withdraw the complaint. However, A1 and his family were unwilling to compromise. Subsequently, Syed Siddiq allegedly issued threats to A1, stating that if the case was not withdrawn and the accused did not exit the business, he would kill A1 and his family. Fearing for their safety and harboring a deep grudge, A1 believed that Siddiq would inevitably cause harm to him and his family. A1 determined to eliminate Siddiq to protect himself and his family. He shared this intent with his younger brother Shaik Rehmath (A2) S/o Shaik Mohammad, who agreed to support him. They further enlisted the help of Rehmath’s friends Raj Kamal (A3), Shashi Kumar (A4), and Jampanna (A5) to carry out the plan. On 10-05-2025 (Saturday), all five accused gathered at A1’s welding shop (RBN Fabrication) near Janapriya Apartments, Macha Bollaram, Alwal, where A1 explained the plan of execution. The group agreed to proceed with the murder. On 11-05-2025 (Sunday), the accused again assembled at the same location. Knowing that Syed Siddiq was present at the weekly market near Central Park, Kompally, A1 procured three knives. A1 and A5 first went to the market to conduct a recce and confirm the target’s presence. After receiving confirmation, the remaining accused (A2 to A4) joined them at the scene. At around 19:45 hours, in full public view, all five accused launched an attack. A1 to A3 stabbed the deceased multiple times with knives, while A4 and A5 assaulted him with fist blows and a vehicle key. Despite the presence of a large crowd at the market, the accused carried out the brutal assault without hesitation. Mahankali, Hyderabad City. 7. FIR. No. 229/2024, U/s. 392 IPC of P.S. Alwal, Cyberabad. *POLICE ACTION AND ARREST:* Under the Supervision of the Purushotham, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Medchal Zone and K. Ramulu, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pet-Basheerabad Division, the team from Pet-Basheerabad Police Station, including the Inspector, Detective Inspector, and Sub-Inspectors, Inspector of Police SOT and Team of Medchal SOT conducted an intensive investigation. Using CCTV footage, local intelligence, and technical surveillance, the police successfully identified and tracked the suspects. All accused were apprehended and interrogated them and the accused persons confessed to their involvement in the murder.
