28 Days Later: Who's the Real Monster K. Murphy's Role
Asking the important question of who the bigger monster is the film also features Oscar Award winner and Peaky Blinder star Killian Murphy at the start of his fledgling career as the protagonist of the film Jim through whose eyes we get to experience this dystopic Jim acts as a mirror through which we see the devolution of society as his character changes from a naive individual to that of a hardened survivor due to the many things he experiences in his journey In some ways he is also representative of the tenacity of the human spirit that allows mankind to endure even during such dire situations While the zombies do provide the overarching threat It is his experience with the surviving humans that moulds Killian's character into what he becomes by the end of the film As such he is an integral part of this franchise due to his impact in the first film The setting of the film which features prominent real-world places in Britain gives the movie an even more grounded nature adding to its unsettling atmosphere
