Neglected by her beauty-obsessed mother, Seniha grows up jealous of her older brother, Halit. Seen as the "ugly duckling," she's deemed unworthy of her noble, wealthy family, while Halit becomes their prideeducated, successful, and admired. As he rises to fame and fortune, Seniha is left behind, unloved and unseen. She never finishes school, never marries, and becomes little more than a servant in her own homemockingly called "Miss Nobody" by her brother. This is, Kiskanmak (To Be Jealous).
