Episode synopsis A suspicious Baron Quinn: After Quinn's former cogs are poached by The Widow, he becomes suspicious of Sunny's actions. He grows further wary when his new wife, Jade, is suddenly poisoned, causing him to doubt those around him. It is heavily implied that Quinn's former wife, Lydia, poisoned Jade out of jealousy. The Widow's plans for M.K.: The Widow continues her hunt for M.K., the boy with the dark power. She tests several young boys to see if they possess this power, but none do. She needs the book containing the compass to help train him. Tilda's capture: After the Widow's latest raid, her daughter Tilda is captured by Sunny and brought back to the Fort. At Quinn's request, Sunny is ordered to torture Tilda for information on The Widow's whereabouts. The Widow vs. Sunny: As Sunny prepares to torture Tilda in the Fort's dungeon, The Widow appears and attacks. A fierce martial arts fight ensues between Sunny and The Widow. M.K.'s outburst: M.K. sees one of Quinn's guards attacking Tilda during the fight. He cuts his own hand, triggering his dark powers, and kills the guard with a telekinetic burst of force. A new arrangement: The Widow manages to escape with Tilda, while Sunny is left to deal with the unconscious M.K. Quinn witnesses M.K.'s powers from a distance, changing the entire dynamic of the power struggle.
