Plot summary A deal for freedom: Sunny attempts to arrange passage out of the Badlands for himself, M.K., and Veil. He delivers what appears to be M.K.'s head to the River King in exchange for a boat, but his plan is complicated when Veil reveals she knows he was involved in her parents' death. An alliance gone wrong: Ryder and Baron Jacobee betray Quinn by luring him to a village with the intent of ambushing him. Ryder is shocked when Quinn uses M.K.'s dark power to turn the tables. The Widow's rise: The Widow's forces attack Quinn's manor, forcing Quinn and his allies to flee. Meanwhile, Tilda must make a difficult choice about the Widow's fate. A fateful choice: After escaping the manor, Quinn is confronted by Sunny. Sunny appears to kill Quinn, taking his tattoo cutter as a final act of retribution. Separated: The episode ends with Sunny sold into servitude by the River King after his betrayal is discovered. M.K., now in a box, is taken away by the Monks for training, while Veil is left behind.
