However, he shows up alive at Nevermore Academy, shocking Wednesday, who witnessed his murder. Weems's deception: Wednesday suspects that someone is covering up Rowan's death. Her suspicions are later validated when she and Thing discover that the "returned" Rowan is actually Principal Weems, who used her shapeshifting abilities to disguise herself.
