Surat Al Waqiah - Ustadz Abdul Qodir

Surah Al-Waqiah is the 56th chapter of the Quran and contains 96 verses. The surahs name, Al-Waqiah, means The Event or The Inevitable, referring to the Day of Judgment that will certainly occur. It vividly describes the great event when all of humanity will be divided into three distinct groups: 1. The people of the right hand (Ashab al-Yameen) those who will receive their record in their right hand and will dwell in eternal bliss in Paradise. 2. The people of the left hand (Ashab al-Shimaal) those who will receive their record in their left hand and will suffer punishment in Hell. 3. The foremost (As-Saabiqun) the closest to Allah, a special group who will enjoy the highest ranks in Paradise. The surah highlights the power of Allah in creation and resurrection, reminding humans of their dependence on Him. It also emphasizes that wealth, status, or power cannot prevent death or judgment. Reciting Surah Al-Waqiah is believed to bring blessings and protection from poverty, as mentioned in various Islamic traditions.
