Plot Summary In this episode, several key events unfold: Sunny and Bajie at Pilgrim's Fortress: Sunny and Bajie arrive at Pilgrim's camp seeking a cure for Henry, but are confronted by an angry M.K. who wants vengeance for his mother's death. Pilgrim intervenes, stopping the fight and revealing that he and Sunny knew each other as children in Azra. Pilgrim uses an ancient chamber to absorb Henry's "Gift" (dark energy) to cure him, which also makes Pilgrim incredibly powerful with black eyes and an ominous voice. Bajie attempts to stop this process after realizing it's how the original world ended, but he is captured. The Widow's Battle: The Widow, Gaius, and Tilda lead a covert raid on Baron Chau's stronghold while Moon and Lydia rally the troops on the battlefield for a distraction. During the main battle, Lydia saves an injured Nathaniel Moon's life, but is wounded herself. The Widow confronts Chau, who corners her and orders her execution, but the Master (Chau's sister) appears and uses her powers to stop the crossbow bolts in mid-air, saving the Widow and taking her away. Romantic Interludes: Before the battles, both the Widow and Gaius, and Nathaniel and Lydia, share romantic moments and pledges of loyalty.
