The kings Lesson

King Ade was the richest ruler in the land. His palace sparkled with gold, but his heart was filled with pride. The villagers worked hard every day, yet they lived in poverty while the king enjoyed great feasts. One year, a drought came. The kings stores were full, but the people were starving. When he saw the hungry children at his gate, his heart softened. He opened his granaries and shared his wealth. For the first time, the villagers smiled with joyand the king felt true happiness. He learned that riches mean nothing without kindness.
