Following President Donald Trumps claim that Ukraine is losing the war against Russias ongoing invasion and that Moscow now has the upper hand, multiple officials told CNN there are no new US or European assessments suggesting there have been significant changes on the battlefield and they dont see any indications President Vladimir Putins forces are likely to win the conflict quickly. Ukraine is ready to hold elections in the next 60 to 90 days if its allies can guarantee security for the vote, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday. Following a meeting with European leaders this week, Zelensky said he expects Ukraine will hand over an updated peace proposal to the US on Wednesday.
