This story begins with the nazar of Abdul Muttalib, grandfather of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and father of Abdullah. Abdul Muttalib once vowed that if he had ten sons and all of them reached adulthood, he would sacrifice one of them near the Zamzam well. After his ten sons grew up, including Abdullah, Abdul Muttalib drew lots to determine which of them would be sacrificed. Every time the draw is drawn, Abdullah's name always comes out. The people of Mecca at that time strongly obstructed Abdul Muttalib's intentions, until finally he softened. Finally, it was agreed to draw lots between Abdullah and a number of camels. If Abdullah's name comes out, the number of camels will be added to the name of the camel that came out when drawn. This drawing process was carried out repeatedly, and every time Abdullah's name came out, the number of camels continued to be added. Once the number of camels reaches 100, then the name of the camel will be drawn in the lottery. Thus, 100 camels were slaughtered as Abdullah's replacement, and Abdullah was saved from the sacrifice. This event was one of the most important events in Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib's life.
