Imagine an extraterrestrial civilization in the distant future. This is an analysis of "The World of the Birrin," an amazing worldbuilding art effort by Alex Ries. The amazing, fantastical extraterrestrial world of the Birrin is explored in this video, which is the second in a two-part series. Alex Ries, a superb worldbuilder and designer who worked on the computer game Subnautica, created the world of the Birrin. The biology and early history of the Birrin, a six-limbed sentient alien race at the center of this made-up universe, were explained in the last movie. However, there is still plenty to discuss. For this reason, we will be documenting the next several eons of Birrin history in this archive post, tracking their amazing journey into the distant future.
