In Episode 3, the mystery around Seo Jung-hoo (Healer) and Chae Young-shin deepens as their lives become more tightly connected. After the rooftop incident, Jung-hoo secretly keeps an eye on Young-shin, realizing she is constantly in danger because of her past. Although he is known as a fearless mercenary, Jung-hoo shows an unexpected moment of weakness when he struggles to fight in close proximity to herhinting at emotional trauma linked to his childhood. Meanwhile, journalist Kim Moon-ho becomes more involved and officially hires Healer to protect Young-shin, though she remains unaware of Jung-hoos true identity. Moon-hos guilt about a mysterious 사건 (incident) from 1992 grows stronger, and brief flashbacks suggest that Young-shin and Jung-hoo are both connected to that dark past. Young-shin begins her internship at a TV news station, hoping to become a real reporter. Despite her cheerful and brave personality, she unknowingly attracts powerful enemies. Jung-hoo, disguised as the shy assistant Park Bong-soo, starts positioning himself closer to her life, setting up the double-identity dynamic that drives the story forward. The episode ends with rising tension as it becomes clear that Young-shin is a key piece in a long-hidden conspiracyand Healer is determined to protect her at any cost.
