A 25-year corporate communications veteran and public relations entrepreneur, Michon Ellis is an influential leader recognized for building and reviving powerhouse brands in public, private and regulated business environments.
Michon founded, grew and then sold a successful media production company (Job Search Television Network) and a marketing and corporate communications agency (LimeGreen Moroch) that provided omni-channel internal and external communications support to blue-chip clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, Beam Suntory and Bacardi.
Michon is involved with a number of national non-profit organizations and serves on national advisory boards and committees. Organizations include the Economic Club of Chicago, Black Public Relations Society, MHub, First Tee of Greater Chicago, The Posse Foundation, National Association of Asian-American Professionals and 100 Black Men of America.
A former Division I football player, Michon earned his BA degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Michon currently serves a the managing director of the Chicago office for Toronto-based, Livewire Communications, an employee communications and corporate change management agency.
Prior to his leadership role at Livewire Communications, Michon was founder and chief executive officer at CLOUT, LLC., a public relations and corporate communications consultancy based in Chicago and servicing clients nationally.
Prior to CLOUT, Michon also has held high-profile roles within the corporate communications industry . . . most notably serving as Director of Global Corporate Communications for the McDonalds Corporation.
Before his eight-year tenure with McDonalds, Michon held executive positions at many levels for some of the nations leading marketing communications agencies including Edelman, Porter Novelli and Ketchum Communications.
Michon Ellis is a dynamic storyteller and inspirational speaker best known for captivating audiences with his authentic and personal tales of being an entrepreneur in the communications industry.
