Ukovsky waterfall

Ukovsky Waterfall is one of the most beautiful and powerful waterfalls in the Baikal region. It is located in the Nizhneudinsky district of the Irkutsk region, on the Bolshoy Uk River. A stream of water falls from a height of up to 20 meters along stone ledges into a picturesque gorge, forming a small lake. The place is remote and not the most touristy, but that's what gives it its special charm. In spring and early summer, the waterfall is especially full of water, and in autumn and winter it pleases with colors and ice sculptures. You can get from the village of Vodopadny - about 6 kilometers on foot or by car through the forest.
