Azadar-e-Hussain Azadar-e-Hussain refers to those who mourn Imam Hussain (A.S.), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), and remember his supreme sacrifice at Karbala. Azadari is not only grief, but a declaration of loyalty to truth, justice, and resistance against oppression. Through majalis, matam, marsiya, noha, and processions, Azadar-e-Hussain keep alive the message of Karbalastanding firm against ظلم (injustice), protecting دین (faith), and following the path of patience, courage, and sacrifice shown by Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his companions.
