Vodny Island

Vodny Island is the only island in Russia where only wild horses live. In the heart of the salty lake Manych-Gudilo, which borders Kalmykia on one side, and on the other - with Rostov region, lies a small, almost uninhabited island. Almost - because its only inhabitants are wild horses. No one knows exactly how or when they got there. It is better to visit the island in the middle of April, when the tulips are in bloom.
