Hanine: Arabia, Dance, and Violin Performance

Since the soundtrack was initially composed for a dancer at a club where Hanine used to play the Arabic violin, the beat served as the major inspiration for the video. After hearing it, Hanine made the decision to change some of its components, resulting in a change from strictly dance beats to a more melodic, oriental violin-focused composition. Her goal was to demonstrate to her audience that although she, as an international Arabic violinist, embraces diversity in music, she owes it to her own knowledge of oriental music to ensure Arabic tunes prevail when pit against western beats because she firmly believes that very little can hope to compete with oriental beats. Additionally, although the Arabic violin has historically been connected to melancholy and depressing emotions, she aimed to change this reputation by producing lively, joyful sounds that would appeal to a wider range of listeners.
