Water spinach harvesting techniques in front of the house
Description
Harvesting water spinach grown in front of your house is quite simple and easy. Water spinach is usually ready to harvest when it's 3–4 weeks old, or when it's about 20–30 cm tall with dense, fresh leaves.
Harvesting can be done by uprooting the entire plant, or by cutting the lower stem about 2–3 cm from the ground using clean scissors or a knife. If cut, the remaining stem will regrow and can be harvested again.
Harvest in the morning or evening to keep the water spinach fresh and prevent wilting.
