Alien vs Predator is BACK. Fans have been begging for a third installment ever since Requiem dropped back in 2007, and after almost two decades of waiting, the franchise has never been in a better position for a comeback. Alien Romulus brought the Xenomorphs back in terrifying fashion. Prey and Predator Badlands revived the Predator franchise under Disney. And 20th Century Studios president Steve Asbell flat out said a new Alien vs Predator crossover will "probably" happen. The pieces are all there. So we built a concept trailer imagining what Alien vs Predator 3 would look like with two of the most badass actors in Hollywood leading the charge — Jason Statham and Charlize Theron. Jason Statham plays Commander Nolan Cross, the leader of an elite deep-space military extraction unit sent to investigate a distress signal from a mining colony on a remote planet at the edge of known space. When the team arrives, they find the colony destroyed. No survivors. Walls melted by acid. Claw marks that don't match anything in any military database. Before they can pull out, a Xenomorph hive beneath the surface activates and all hell breaks loose. But the aliens aren't the only hunters on this planet. A clan of Yautja Predators has been using this colony as a hunting ground, and they've been breeding Xenomorphs deliberately to create the ultimate prey. Now Cross and his team are trapped between two of the deadliest species in the universe with no extraction coming. Charlize Theron plays Dr. Maren Voss, a Weyland-Yutani research scientist who was stationed at the colony and is the sole survivor. She knows things about both species that the company has been hiding for decades — classified research that could change the balance of power in the galaxy. Cross needs her intel to survive. She needs his firepower to escape. Together they lead a brutal fight through collapsing underground hive structures, open terrain hunts, and a final confrontation that pits humans, Xenomorphs, and Predators against each other in an all-out war where no species is safe. The original Alien vs Predator was released in 2004 directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, followed by Aliens vs Predator Requiem in 2007. The Alien franchise was created by Ridley Scott and the Predator franchise originated with John McTiernan's 1987 classic starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Both franchises are now owned by Disney through 20th Century Studios. Fede Alvarez who directed Alien Romulus has hinted at a crossover, and Dan Trachtenberg's Predator films have already started planting Alien universe Easter eggs — making this concept more realistic than ever.
