In Ireland, President Catherine Connolly led the nation's celebrations for Buckley, alongside Irish animator Richard Baneham, who took home the award for Best Visual Effects for Avatar: Fire and Ash. President Connolly praised Buckley's "outstanding performance in Hamnet."
