Country Star Cancels Shows, Announces Touring Break to Seek ‘Professional’ Help

Randall King is putting his touring life on pause to focus on what matters most — family, faith, and mental health. The country music star, 35, turned to social media to announce his decision to step back from the road in a lengthy post on social media. On Wednesday, March 18, King reflected on his music career, writing via Instagram: “It’s easy to get lost in this world. Sometimes you have no idea how deep into it you are until you step back and look.” He went on to add that although he will not be performing live shows anytime soon, he has put a lot of thought into the decision and ultimately feels his past choices have “affected the people I love the most.”Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve dug deep and taken a hard look at areas of my life that need serious attention and change because not only have my choices affected myself, they have affected the people I love the most,” he wrote, adding. “
