What is Causes of Muscle Fatigue
There are several causes of muscle fatigue, including:
Metabolic: This is caused by the depletion of energy stores such as glycogen and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the muscle fibers. This can occur during intense or prolonged exercise.
Neural: This is caused by a reduction in the number of nerve impulses reaching the muscle fibers. This can occur as a result of a decrease in the activity of the motor neurons that stimulate muscle contraction.
Mechanical: This is caused by damage to the muscle fibers themselves, such as from microtrauma, which occurs during intense or prolonged exercise.
