How to Make Spicy Padang Sauce Squid

Ingredients:
500 g fresh medium-sized squid
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons chili sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
salt to taste
sugar to taste
flavor enhancer to taste
water as needed
oil for sautéing as needed
Ground spices:
1/2 onion
5 shallots
3 cloves garlic
3 large red chilies
5 bird's eye chilies or to taste
How to Make Spicy Padang Sauce Squid:
clean the squid by separating the head and the body, then wash with water until completely clean, drain
cut the cleaned squid into rings about 1 cm in size
sauté the ground spices with a little oil until fragrant
add the squid pieces to the sautéed spices, stir until the color changes
pour a little water into the squid then add chili sauce, tomato sauce, and oyster sauce
add ground pepper, sugar, salt, and seasoning, stir until well mixed and the sauce thickens
