The first time I posted this lyrebird video, it reached 153 million people and life got pretty crazy for a while. Eventually though, the views stopped coming and I realised that this viral moment was quickly forgotten by most people. It had no real impact. Since then, all I’ve wanted to do was tell the complete story of these incredible birds; to create a piece of art that will have a lasting impact. This year, I’m finally doing it, in the form of a feature film. I’m ready to make something that will reconnect people with the natural world and hopefully inspire them to protect it. But making a film is expensive and I’m doing it alone.
