The World's Largest Library is Owned by Muslims

"When Europe was still in the dark ages of knowledge... the Islamic world had the greatest library!" In the 9th century, in Baghdad, a center of knowledge was established called the Baitul Hikmah, or House of Wisdom. This place was the largest library in the world at that time. Thousands of books from Greece, Persia, India, and Egypt were translated into Arabic.
