The Flowers Of Evil (2026) JAPAN DRAMA The story is set in Hikari City, Gunma Prefecture. Surrounded by mountains, second-year middle school student Kasuga Takao lives each day feeling a deep sense of suffocation and stagnation. What saves his heart is Charles Baudelaire’s poetry collection Les Fleurs du mal (The Flowers of Evil). One evening, when Kasuga returns to his classroom to retrieve something he forgot, he finds the gym uniform of his admired classmate, Saeki Nanako, lying there. After looking around to make sure no one is nearby, Kasuga commits an impulsive mistake: he steals the uniform. However, the classroom was not empty. The entire incident was secretly witnessed by Nakamura Sawa, a problematic student in the class.
