This educational video demonstrates the 4 main safe sites for Intramuscular IM injection in adults and children. We cover: 1. *Dorsogluteal site* – upper outer quadrant of gluteus maximus. Landmark: draw imaginary cross, use upper outer quadrant away from sciatic nerve. 2. *Ventrogluteal site* – preferred site for adults. Landmark: place palm on greater trochanter, index finger on anterior superior iliac spine, inject in V between fingers. Safest site, away from nerves and blood vessels. 3. *Vastus lateralis site* – middle third of thigh muscle. Landmark: divide thigh into thirds from knee to hip, inject middle outer third. Preferred for infants/children <3 years. 4. *Deltoid site* – upper arm muscle. Landmark: 2-3 finger widths below acromion process.
