The cable back workout is a great way to target all the muscles in your back, including the lats, traps, and rhomboids. To perform this workout, you will need access to a cable machine. Start by attaching a wide grip bar to the cable machine and setting the weight to a moderate level. Stand facing the machine and grab the bar with an overhand grip. Begin the exercise by pulling the bar towards your chest, keeping your elbows close to your body. Squeeze your shoulder blades together as you pull the bar in. Slowly release the bar back to the starting position, feeling the stretch in your lats. Repeat for the desired number of reps and sets. You can also perform other exercises using the cable machine such as cable rows, pull-downs and pull-ups.
