Ammo Blast in Russia's Belgorod, Dnipro Missile Strike Kills 25, Putin Positive About Ukraine War

The death toll from a Russian missile strike on an apartment block in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro rose to 25 on Jan. 15. At least 73 people were wounded in the attack on the nine-story apartment building, including four who are in critical condition. Ukraine said 72 apartments were destroyed and 230 damaged as a result of the strike in Dnipro. Ukrainian Armed forces said that Russia used Kh-22 missiles to hit the Dnipro building. Russia’s Defence Ministry said that it achieved its goal with missile strikes across Ukraine on Jan. 14. Russia's RIA Novosti news agency reported that three soldiers were killed and 13 others were injured in Belgorod region due to ammunition explosion. Russian President Vladimir Putin says the special military operation in Ukraine is showing a positive trend. Wagner group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin posted a video on Jan. 14, claiming he visited Soledar after it was taken over by his fighters.
