My Son, Joshua I wrote this song from a deeply personal place, after going through some very difficult moments in my life, especially during my pregnancy. Through My Son, Joshua, I wanted to turn my pain and struggles into a testimony of faith, strength, and love. This song is also dedicated to single mothers who are going through difficult seasons, reminding them that they are not alone and that their story is not over. No matter how hard the journey may be, there is still hope, strength, and a reason to keep going. At the same time, this song is a message to my son, Joshua. I want him to know that through every struggle, his mother was there, and she will always be there for him.
