The Dunya Is a Temporary Home

This sermon reminds us of the temporary and fragile nature of worldly life. Today we may enjoy health, wealth, strength and influence, but tomorrow everything can change. The dunya contains sickness, poverty, grief, disappointment, oppression, aging, separation and death. It is not Jannah, and it was never meant to be our permanent home. The believer should therefore not become excessively attached to the dunya, but use its blessings to prepare for the eternal life of the Hereafter. When difficulties come, we remain patient; when blessings come, we remain grateful; and at all times, we remember Allah and prepare for the day when we will return to Him. #Dunya #Temporary #eternallife
