He studied painting at the Almaty State University. In 2011 he graduated from School-Studio “SHAR” as an animation director. His first student film, BACH , was included in the student animated film competition at Annecy (France), won a Special Jury Prize at World Festival of Animated Film 2011 (Varna, Bulgaria) and got the Prize for Best Environmental Film at the 9th Tindirindis International Animated Film Festival (Vilnius).
