Sal / Salt

"Sal" transforms a first dip in the sea into an arc of reinvention—the lyrical voice descends to the sand, sheds its burdens, "uninvents" itself, and emerges salted with the future. It employs a four-layered system of imagery: salt as seasoning (the life to come), salt as healing (the sea restoring what the world made us forget), salt as memory (the crystal kept in the pocket of the skin), and salt as rebirth ("a home of sea and thirst").
