What if Stalin re-spawned today in Russia? Firstly he would remove any current leadership or any oppositions, making elections meaningless, and control opps by using secret police. Stalin would then push for more control over industries and speed up Military production. Next he'll try for neigbhouring countries like Eastern Europe and the Caucasus region, which would deteriorate relations between Russia and the West. However since both parties have nuclear weapons, any escalation would be highly unlikely. Instead it'll be a cold war like standoff, giving us proxy wars all over the world. The United Nations would condemn this situation with a strongly worded letter as usual.
