“The best character is to maintain ties with those who cut you off, give to those who deprive you, and forgive those who wrong you.” So, do not allow money, inheritance, jealousy, misunderstanding, or old disagreements to destroy your family relationships. Call your brother. Visit your parents. Check on your relatives. Help the family member who is struggling. You may think you are simply maintaining a relationship, but Allah may place barakah in your wealth, your time, your family, and your life because of it.
