The Dry Bench
After a heavy rain, one bench in Palmeiras Square remains completely dry. A student decides to sit on it and finds a note written in his own handwriting:
“Don’t go home today.”
He ignores the warning, but when he arrives home, he finds a wet coat hanging in the hallway — with the key to his own bedroom inside the pocket.
The next day, the bench is dry again. Everyone who sits there feels someone standing up beside them… and finds a single wet footprint walking away.
Never coming closer.
