The blobfish became famous online for its strange appearance and seemingly “melted” face. But there’s a detail hardly anyone knows: this isn't what it actually looks like in its natural habitat! 🌊 Living in the ocean depths, where the pressure is extremely high, its body is perfectly adapted to survive in that environment. When it is brought up from the depths to the surface, the change in pressure can drastically alter its appearance. In other words... maybe it isn't ugly.
